Did You Know?

Since 1998 Central County Fire & Rescue (CCFR) has served the residents of Saint Peters and Saint Charles County.
Fire fighters work every day to ensure the safety of residents by fighting fires, rescuing the injured from automobile crashes, saving heart attack victims, assisting after natural disasters and handling hazardous material situations.
  • CCFR has less than one firefighter per 1,000 local residents.
  • The amount of emergency calls has more than doubled in the past ten years.
  • Every CCFR fire truck needs to be replaced in the next six years.
  • Many CCFR fire stations cannot house up-to-date equipment.
  • CCFR has the lowest operating cost per capita in the area.

The District needs your help to plan for the next ten years, and beyond. Click on any of the links above to learn more about the current challenges and opportunities facing CCFR.
